i thought i was having a stroke when i started to lose vision in my left eye.

the ct scan and 4 mri exams yielded nothing out of the ordinary during the ten hours i spent in the emergency room; this afternoon, a doctor from the hospital called and instructed me to see a specific neurologist as soon as i could.

the pain behind my right eye wont dissipate. intravenous morphine didnt help. the fiorinal i was prescribed upon discharge might as well have been sand.


my genetically faulty aorta will only last so long.



ive never been afraid to die; now i can see the sunset looming in my eyes.
